But I have to be honest with you, John... July has been a slow fundraising month for us. And I totally get it! Folks are spending time with family, traveling, and soaking up the summer sun.
Becca’s fighting hard for us in Congress and holding the line against the far-right agenda. She’s worked to secure funding for health care centers and protect reproductive rights through bills such as the Stop Comstock Act.
And as a result, Becca — a progressive, openly LGBTQ+ woman — has become a target of the MAGA right. By hitting our fundraising goals, our team can help us send a message to Becca’s opponents that, despite their attacks, she has more support behind her than ever before.
