*Governor Orders Wyoming Flag be Flown at Half Staff at the Capitol and in Goshen, Niobrara and Platte Counties on July 27*

 

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Governor Mark Gordon has ordered the Wyoming State Flag be flown at half staff at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Goshen, Niobrara and Platte Counties from sunrise to sunset on* Saturday, July 27* in honor and memory of Russell Zimmer. Mr. Zimmer served in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1973-1976 and in the Wyoming Senate from 1977-1992, serving as Senate Vice President, Majority Floor Leader, and as Senate President. He passed away July 12, 2024.

Please note that this notice is *only* for the *Wyoming State Flag* and only at four locations in the state - at the Capitol Building and in Goshen, Niobrara and Platte Counties. Other flags should remain at full-staff.
