Tips for better fishing in the summer heat

In the heat of summer, fishing gets tougher, as there is so much natural prey for fish to eat. However, knowing when and where to fish can make all the difference.

Improved access for boaters, anglers coming to Grove Lake WMA

Boaters and anglers will soon see access improvements at Grove Lake Wildlife Management Area in Antelope County. A new project is underway to build a fishing pier at the 50-acre lake and repair two boat ramps.

On July 15, work began at Calamus Reservoir State Recreation Area to make needed improvements to roadways and campsites. During this extensive project, which will extend through the spring, visitor access will be limited and phased during construction.
