Thousands Rally in the Nation's Capital: A Bold Statement Against Netanyahu and U.S. Enablement of Genocide Dear Email, Yesterday, tens of thousands of passionate advocates gathered in Washington, D.C. to stand against War Criminal Netanyahu's visit and address to Congress at a massive rally and march organized by American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) and our coalition partners. Despite the police doubling down and blocking streets throughout the city, D.C. was alive with our collective demand for justice and the protestors filled several blocks. The immense turnout was a testament to the disconnect between the American people and our government, reiterating a widespread call for an end to the violence and injustice. Our rally showcased a diverse range of influential speakers from partner organizations and allies, each reinforcing our commitment to the Palestinian cause and our collective demand for the U.S. to uphold human rights and justice. The speakers’ messages underscored the shameful role of the United States in continuing to facilitate Israel’s genocide in Gaza and its broader occupation of Palestine. Welcoming Netanyahu—a war criminal responsible for the nine-month-long genocide marked by relentless bombings and blockades—into our legislative chambers and applauding him is an act of disgrace. Our leaders have not only embraced him but have endorsed his crimes, making every member of Congress who supported this visit complicit in these atrocities. We will not tolerate our representatives enabling further violence and injustice. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated and supported the rally. Your dedication and commitment are the driving force behind our fight for justice. The “Arrest Netanyahu” Rally was endorsed by 500+ organizations from across the nation and co-organized by a broad coalition including AMP, Palestinian Youth Movement, ANSWER Coalition, U.S. Palestinian Community Network, The People's Forum, Palestinian Feminist Collective, Arab Resource, and Organizing Center, Al-Awda: The Palestine Right to Return Coalition, U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network, Palestinian American Organizations Network, American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, Palestinian American Women's Association, CodePink, Jewish Voice for Peace, Palestinian Assembly for Liberation, Council on American-Islamic Relations, and Writers Against the War on Gaza.
