I had the opportunity to travel abroad recently.

And ever since I landed back on US soil, I’ve felt a renewed and refreshed sense of mission to save not only our own democracy, but advance the cause of freedom all around the world.

And under Donald Trump, the COVID-19 pandemic raged worldwide due to his lack of leadership and trust in science.

Now, the world is waiting with baited breath to see if our American experiment in democracy will end — because they know that their future is wrapped up with ours.
