Hi John - 

it’s Rep. Sean Casten here, and I’m running to keep Illinois’ 6th Congressional District blue and our planet green.  

In 2018, I flipped this seat from red to blue for the first time in nearly 50 years, and Republicans have been gunning for it ever since. I refuse to let extremist climate-change deniers dismantle all the work we’ve done to protect our planet.

As the former CEO of two successful clean energy companies, I’m no stranger to getting things done. In my three terms in Congress, I’ve introduced legislation that strengthens our electric grid and eliminates the egregious tax breaks the oil and gas industry enjoys. 

I’m proud of what we've accomplished, but there’s so much more to do. But if we’re going to keep fighting for our communities, we need to win this November – that’s why I’m partnering with GOTV PAC.
