Internships are crucial opportunities for young people to learn about their passions and develop skill sets that will set them up for success in their careers.
But they’re not the only ones who benefit.
Interns often go unsung despite being integral to running workplaces, campaigns, and businesses across San Diego County. Our home simply wouldn’t be the same without their hard work.
We know their potential — interns have helped us win three elections in a row, and remain a vital part of the work we’re doing at the County. Just last year, Noah, Precious, and Aaron helped Monica represent District 4 on the San Diego City Council, and right now Ezekeial is helping us with our work at the County level.
To all hardworking young people, thank you for everything you do.
