John, this is Jamie Raskin.

I’m writing an appeal for my friend Adam Schiff.

Like Adam, I was a lead manager in a Trump Senate impeachment trial. He did the Ukraine shakedown and I led the team in prosecuting the violent insurrection on January 6, 2021.

Then we served together on Speaker Pelosi’s January 6th Select Committee to investigate the attempt to overthrow the 2020 election. The evidence and testimony we uncovered led to indictments by the Justice Department and the Fulton County, Georgia district attorney’s office for Trump’s 2020 election interference.

In the 2024 election, everything is on the line. I’m glad Adam is running for Senate now. And I plan on becoming the new Chairman of the House Oversight Committee. Together we’ll make sure that the struggle for justice and strong democracy continues.
