Even though we are all witnessing history, the pandemic situation is getting tedious. This brutal disease cannot be confronted in any meaningful way by individuals or governments.  It is a destructive force of nature that will eventually die out but not before it kills perhaps a million human beings.   Because we Americans have formed a hyper-secular society, we are now fighting amongst ourselves over the virus. The pandemic has predictably become political with President Trump in the middle.
