James, over 30,000 Our Revolution activists took our election survey after President Biden stepped aside. Results show our movement is feeling overwhelmingly positive about Biden’s decision. Confidence in our ability to defeat Trump has gone way, way up. And nearly 80% of survey takers expressed support for Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee.
But the one thing that has remained steady across our surveys over the last few weeks is that our movement is very worried about a second Trump presidency. And it won’t be easy to defeat Trump.
Biden’s decision to step aside has re-energized progressive voters. We’re ready to fight Trump’s far-right Project 2025 agenda with a set of policy priorities that includes defending reproductive freedoms, ending the Trump tax cuts for big corporations and the ultra-rich, healthcare for all, climate action, and Peace in Gaza.
We can only defeat Trump by organizing and mobilizing progressives to go out to the polls — that will be the difference in November.
