For over a century, individuals and families across America have turned to Catholic Charities for help. Today, 168 Catholic Charities agencies operating in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories continue to serve those in need at more than 3,900 locations.

We are excited to share our midyear impact report - Forging Brighter Futures [link removed] -????which highlights our ongoing commitment to millions of individuals of all faiths who seek help and hope from Catholic Charities.

Here are just a few of the highlights from last year:

*

**More than 15 million people** were served by local agencies and provided with holistic support and a roadmap to stability.

* Our

**Innovation Challenge** awarded $2.5 million to nine agencies to foster new workforce development programs that help families achieve long-term economic stability.

* The

**Lifting New Mothers Out of Poverty** initiative is launching in four states to provide comprehensive support to new mothers to lift them out of poverty.

* Our

**Healthy Housing Initiative** continues to reduce chronic homelessness, with promising results across five cities.

*

**50% of our agencies** now operate or are developing healthy, client-choice food pantries that emphasize both nutrition and dignity.

* Local agencies responded to more than

**60 disasters**.
