GOOD NEWS: since
launching our summer fundraising campaign: we’ve raised
$129,000 towards our $200,000 goal (65% of the way there!!)
REMINDER: This
November, open primaries will be on the ballot in seven states across
the country and we need to do everything we can to pass each of these
campaigns.
MORE GOOD NEWS: We’ve been blown away by the response and enthusiasm we’ve
received from our supporters across the country during this
campaign–people making multiple donations, new supporters (42% of all
donations have come from new supporters!) coming on board and sharing
with us why this matters to them, saying things like “I really believe dismantling party control
of voting is the single greatest thing we could be doing to help our
country right now.” We’re
so grateful/hopeful and inspired by all of you--THANK YOU!
Over the last year we’ve
experienced more growth, interest and recognition as an organization
than the last five years combined. Our expertise and experience in the
area of election reform has led to an explosion of opportunities:
regular coverage in major national media outlets, interest from
business, political and thought leaders across the country and daily
meetings/zooms/conferences and training sessions with local leaders
and activists leading campaigns in their home states, and tens of
thousands of people signing up to learn more and get
involved.
