In this month's newsletter, we explore the dangerous alliance between the radical left and Islamists. Despite profound ideological differences, these two radical factions have coalesced, intertwined, and conjoined over the past decade. Driven by a shared hatred towards Western culture and values, the “Islamo-Leftist Alliance” threatens not only Israel and the Jewish people, but all of western civilization.

In our most recent article, published in inFOCUS Magazine, titled "The Islamo-Leftist Alliance: Threatening Jews and the US we highlight how this unlikely alliance manifests in both expression and action to promote antisemitism, target Jewish communities, and undermine Western institutions. In addition to explaining the dangers of this alliance, the article offers a path forward. We need a united front to counter extremism and safeguard America against this threat.

Our second article, written seven years ago - in 2017, details how and why the radical left, joined radical Islamists, despite fundamental differences in values. The article includes examples of this paradox. People like Linda Sarsour, who despite advocating for feminist causes, simultaneously praise Sharia law, a notorious misogynist philosophy. The article includes early warnings about the normalization of antisemitism within leftist circles, particularly on college campuses. Written seven years ago, the implications of this trend were notable then. Today, the evidence of our warnings is obvious. The future for America and Jewish communities globally must confront this radical alliance.

These two articles, written seven years apart, exemplify a hard truth. This unholy alliance, has been metastasizing for years. Today, the fruits of this partnership are seen on college campuses and within cities across America. We knew this was coming.

Now we must fight back even harder than before.

Radical Muslims stone women, execute gays, trample on minority and human rights and abhor feminism. On paper, the far Left should be appalled by this ideology, but these unlikely allies happily cast aside their differences because they share common hatred for Western influence, pluralistic nationalism, freedom of speech, tolerance, and vile antisemitism.

The growth of this alliance and the mainstreaming of antisemitic leftism – especially on college campuses – threatens not only our way of life in America but the future of the Jewish People around the world.”

The Lawfare Project (LP) is the leading global organization providing pro bono legal services to enforce the civil and human rights of the Jewish people. Over the past 9 years, they have undertaken more than 140 legal actions in the United States and abroad to fight Jew-hatred and discrimination on campuses, in the workplace, and in commerce (e.g., BDS boycotts).
