President Joe Biden spoke Wednesday night about his decision to drop out of the presidential race in his first public appearance since the decision was made. In a video address of just over 11 minutes, Biden spoke from behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, after having spent nearly a week sequestered in his Delaware home, reportedly recovering from COVID-19. "I revere this office, but I love my country more," the president remarked. "It's been the honor of my life to serve as your president," he added, claiming that "the defense of democracy" is "at stake and is more important than any title." |

Don't Underestimate Kamala, GOP Leaders Warn |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
While some Republicans take a premature victory lap over Joe Biden's exit from the November race, others are warning that beating his vice president isn't the slam dunk they think it is. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is the latest to sound the alarm that conservatives may be taking the threat of Kamala Harris too lightly. "Republicans, I worry, vastly underestimate Kamala Harris," he cautioned on his Monday podcast. The worst thing the GOP can be at this point is "overconfident." Especially when she has the entire mainstream media establishment behind her. |

by Joshua Arnold |
New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R) on Friday signed into law a bill (HB 619) protecting minors from gender transition procedures - but only genital surgeries. At the same time, Sununu also signed a women's sports bill (HB 1205) but vetoed a bill (HB 396) protecting women's private spaces from male intrusion. The moderation of these actions did not spare the governor, or the Republican-controlled state legislature, from attacks by gender ideologues. |

by Sarah Holliday |
The workforce is known for its competitive nature, and statistics have revealed the competition is getting increasingly tense - but for reasons people may not immediately expect. A Growing Global Movement of Parents Is Keeping Their Kids Free from Smartphones |
by Sarah Holliday |
As numerous studies outline the psychological dangers of smartphone use and with the U.S. surgeon general calling for warning labels on social media, it seems many have chosen to distance themselves from the technological universe. If nothing else, at least many have chosen to limit the amount of time children spend engaging online. A recent example of this is Maple Grove Middle School in Minnesota, who chose to restrict the use of cell phones in the school. |
