Updates from parliament
The New Zealand First 2024 Convention is less than three months
away and we have a plethora of updates from parliament to share with
our membership.
Our team in Wellington have been busy progressing more New Zealand
policy.
Over the past month that has included updates such as:
- Announcing the first steps to build a new four-lane
highway alternative to the Brynderwyns.
- Making it easier to build granny flats and other 60m2 dwellings
with upcoming changes to the Building Act confirmed.
- Starting an inquiry into the current and future capacity of the
aged care sector on the sustainability of support services and effects
of diagnoses pathways
- Cutting red tape in Police recruitment in our mission to deliver
500 new frontline police
