President Biden took office in 2021 to heal our nation, restore hope, and rebuild democracy – and he has done that, and so much more.
What he has accomplished in the past three and a half years has been incredible.
From the American Rescue Plan, to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, to the CHIPS Act, to appointing Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court, to the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. From more than 15 million jobs created, to record-low child poverty, to trillions in new household wealth.
He’s signed executive orders that take action to prevent gun violence, to combat anti-LGBTQ laws passed in states across the country, and to expand and protect access to abortion and reproductive care.
All of these accomplishments have had a massive impact on the American people, changing our lives for the better not only now, but for generations to come.
And through it all – his career in the Senate, his service as Vice President beside President Obama, his historically progressive Administration, and his decision yesterday – President Biden has reminded us all what it is to be patriotic, and what it is to be a public servant.
I met Joe Biden when I was working on the 2012 re-election campaign for President Obama and then-Vice President Biden.
It was a hectic time – as the campaign trail always is. But no matter how many people he had to talk to or how busy his day was, he always had time for a smile and a kind word for all of us who were working for him.
My own career in public service has been influenced and inspired by his leadership and his belief in the goodness of his fellow Americans.
As we all come together to thank President Biden for his lifetime of service and contributions to our country’s progress, we’re also coming together in support of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Kamala is a leader who can unite our party, defeat Donald Trump, and continue delivering wins for the American people. I’m so proud to be all in for Kamala, and today I’m hoping you’ll join me.
Donate any amount right now, split between my re-election campaign and Kamala Harris’s campaign for President, and let’s get ready to win big in November.
This is a pivotal moment for our party and our country, and I’m grateful to have two amazing leaders in President Biden and Vice President Harris at the helm.
I can’t wait to work alongside my fellow Democrats – and fellow Californian Kamala Harris – to secure Democratic wins in just 104 days!
Sincerely,
Sara Jacobs
