John, if this week has shown us anything, it’s that the stakes are higher than ever. Last week, Donald Trump officially became the GOP presidential nominee at the Republican National Convention, which Republicans spent plotting to tear down the progress that President Biden and Vice President Harris have delivered.

But the 2024 election isn’t about Democrats vs. Republicans or Red vs. Blue. 2024 is about the American people – and the kind of country that we want to build for ourselves. This year, voters are facing a stark contrast: either we elect decent, committed, honorable leaders throughout our government who will fight for hard-working families; or we elect extremists who desperately want to drag our nation backwards.

I know which of those I'm voting for. I've known Kamala Harris for nearly two decades – we've both been prosecutors, we've both stood up for the rule of law, we've both fought for the people and delivered results. Kamala Harris is a patriot worthy of our support, and she will continue the work of generations of Americans who came before us – here in Pennsylvania, the birthplace of our democracy – to perfect our union, protect our democracy, and advance real freedom. She has served the country honorably as Vice President and she is ready to be President.

I will do everything I can to elect Kamala Harris as our 47th president, Democrats like North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein as governor, and Democrats across the country this November, team.
