Welcome to another edition of What’s Happening with When We All Vote! With this Sunday marking 100 days before the election — it’s go time! You know 100 days out is a big moment for us, so stay tuned for how you can take action and ensure your community is registered and ready to vote!

Before we get there, let’s celebrate all the work we did together. This summer, we launched our Culture of Democracy Tour [[link removed]], and our team has been on the ground bringing voting directly to the culture at exciting events and festivals.

Now, let’s take a look at what we’ve been up to:

🌟 We kicked off our tour at the Root’s Picnic Music Festival [[link removed]] and then headed to the Blavity House Party Music Festival [[link removed]] for two unforgettable musical weekends. We enjoyed incredible live performances while registering hundreds of voters on the spot.

🌟 Next, we made our way to New Orleans for the Essence Festival of Culture [[link removed]], one of the biggest cultural gatherings of the year. The energy was high, and our Essence #VotingSquad showed up and out, mobilizing and registering thousands of voters in just one weekend.

A huge thank you to Nikole Hannah-Jones, Brittany Packnett Cunningham, Flau’jae, and Reyna Roberts, who joined our panel [[link removed]] to discuss the important role we all play in protecting our democracy. 🌟 We made a special stop at the BET Awards, where our amazing volunteers brought voting to culture’s biggest night.

🌟 And last weekend, our team registered a record number of first-time voters in Las Vegas at the NBA Summer League and debuted a video featuring our Co-Chairs, including Mrs. Obama, played during halftime.

John, can you believe we did all of this in less than two months? Stay tuned as we hit more stops on our Culture of Democracy Tour. Remember, Election Day is STILL November 5th — and it’s important to make our voices heard up and down the ballot. Together, we will continue to empower, mobilize, and register voters this election season. Let’s keep the momentum going.
