And there’s both bad news and good:

The bad news is that Republican Larry Hogan outraised us last quarter. It’s not surprising, given that he’s courting big checks from the far right, but it gives him an early advantage and means he has the resources to communicate with Maryland voters.

The good news is that this race is still neck-and-neck! With a huge outpouring of grassroots support before midnight, we can get our ads on the air and boost our on-the-ground voter contact efforts.
