More than any other president in American history, Joe has treated the climate crisis like the existential threat that it is:
- He made it a cornerstone of his campaign for office, promising to take bold action that would turn the tide.
- He promised to address the climate crisis in his Inaugural Address, and then signed executive orders on his very first day as president.
- He got to work passing the most ambitious and important climate laws in our nation’s history.
His legacy is secure — he is a great climate President.
When my kids and I heard the news that Joe was setting aside his plans to run for a second term, we decided we wanted him to hear us say “thank you.” So we grabbed some art supplies, made some quick signs and headed down to the White House to make sure that message was delivered.
It felt good to do. Now, I’m hoping you’ll join us. Will you add your name to our thank you message to President Biden?
