It’s been an eventful couple of months, John.
FIRST: AIPAC and their GOP megadonors successfully bought their way into Jamaal Bowman’s race.
THEN: Those very same megadonors started pouring millions of dollars into my race in an attempt to buy this seat for my opponent.
NOW: GOP extremists have made it clear that should they win in November, they will systematically roll back our civil rights, freedoms, and environmental protections.
Needless to say, the pressure is on.
The GOP extremists are threatened by regular, everyday people like us having a voice in Congress, and I’m not letting that faze me. Instead, I’m spending my time in the community, talking to our community members, and I am more determined than ever to stay in this seat — because I love this district.

As a survivor of gun violence myself, when Dr. LJ Punch came to us for a grant to help expand the Bullet Related Injury Clinic, I knew we had to get it done. I’m proud to deliver $3 million in funding for North St. Louis—16x the amount requested—to help save lives.
The last few months have been booked and busy. However, there’s nothing I love more than getting a chance to be in the community and deliver for the people of St Louis.
Together, we’re going to show every corporate super PAC and right-wing special interest group that organized people beat organized money. That’s because our movement is one built on the values of shared humanity, justice, and speaking truth to power for people in St. Louis and around the world.
