Friend: It’s been six days since we saw extremists like Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, and Rick Scott take the stage at the Republican National Convention.

And the truth has never been more clear: The GOP will stop at nothing to push their extremist agenda.

In many ways, friend, my campaign is not only a love letter to Florida, but also to America. From helping to protect the Everglades to working at the state and national level to expand health care access and protect our seniors — I've spent my life serving this state and this country. 

But my opponent Rick Scott can't say the same.

He's made false promises about protecting in vitro fertilization after voting against both IVF and birth control protections. He's endorsed Donald Trump and J.D. Vance, as well as their hateful agenda that aims to attack everything from reproductive rights to Social Security and Medicare. He's spent his entire career lying and scheming for his own personal gain, including overseeing one of the largest Medicare frauds in the nation’s history. 

This is the kind of corruption and self-serving greed that my family and I saw in Ecuador: politicians who would do anything to prevent any true liberty and further their own personal gains. But to be completely honest, friend, I didn't think I'd see it here in America. 

Today, I can't help but be worried for the future of our nation, and I can't stress enough how important it is to keep extremist Republicans out of office. That starts with making sure we keep Donald Trump and his puppets, J.D. Vance and Rick Scott, from winning the White House and Senate majority this November. 

But here's the truth, friend: I'm up against a self-funding opponent who's already spent over $4 million on attack ads against me. Now more than ever, we need to stand together against the GOP's attacks on our democracy and make sure we can go up against their aggressive spending. 

So please, will you donate $5 to help me defeat Rick Scott and save our democracy from right-wing extremists like him, J.D. Vance, and Donald Trump? We can protect our Senate majority and the White House, but only if grassroots activists like you believe in my campaign.
