John, I know I’m not alone in saying the uncertainty of the past few weeks have shaken me up. This has been anything but an ordinary election season, and with Sunday’s news about President Biden stepping down from the race, much remains unclear.

Here’s what isn’t changing: our commitment to the care agenda and to win on care. No matter who’s running for office or sitting in the White House, we’ll continue our fight to secure paid leave for all, affordable child care, accessible aging and disability care, and good care jobs.

There are ways you can get involved too, John. We’ve created a Care Voter Guide so you know exactly how to engage your elected officials and candidates about care.

Democracy isn’t a spectator sport – and as care advocates, we can’t afford to sit by and do nothing if we want to create a more caring future for all of us.

John, can we count you in as a care voter this election season?

Take the pledge now to be a care voter this election.

When you fill out the form, you’ll receive a link to read and download the Care Voter Guide. The guide walks you through how to set up a meeting with your electeds, questions you can ask, how you can share your care story, and more.

This is only the first step: If we all join together, we can make sure our elected officials and candidates know that care needs to be a priority this election season!

With care,

Nicole Jorwic, Chief of Advocacy & Campaigns
