96% of the population is facing acute levels of hunger, including an estimated 49,300 pregnant women who face a constant struggle to keep themselves and their unborn children alive.

“Today, I am scheduled for a C-section,” Suhad, a displaced woman who is now staying in a tent in Rafah, explained to us. “Then I’ll return to the same suffering in the tent. It will be extremely difficult after the birth. From the physical pain to staying in an ice-cold tent — and there are no clothes for the baby. What has she done to be born into a situation like this?”

We’ve only raised 34.6% of our Gaza Humanitarian Appeal, so your gift today will deliver urgently needed resources, medicines, and mobile health services to women and girls like Suhad and her newborn who are living through hellish conditions.
