Hello partners,

As you know, Americans across the nation are experiencing a severe heath care affordability and quality crisis, driven by high and rising health care prices and the harmful pricing practices of large health care corporations, which are too often focused on maximizing their profits and revenues at the expense of the health and financial security of our nation's families.

Families USA's newest factsheet – Congress Must Act: Stop Big Health Care Corporations From Taking Advantage of Rural Communities – highlights how large health care corporations and their anti-competitive behaviors particularly harm rural communities, who already face more limited access to care, higher health care costs and premiums and worse health outcomes.

Big health care corporations are exacerbating the rural health crisis and putting rural American's access to care at risk by buying up rural providers, dramatically increasing health care prices, eliminating critical lifesaving services, and closing facilities all together – all because the broken financial incentives in our current health care system drive them to do just that.

Congress needs to act on behalf of our rural residents and enact site neutral payments to lower health care costs and protect access to health care for rural communities as well as communities across the nation.

Thank you, and please let me know if you have any questions.
