Sue Altman and her dog

Hi friend - It’s Sue Altman here. Sharice Davids said I could reach out to tell you a little bit about myself and our fight here in NJ-07. I understand if you’re short on time, but before you click away, will you please split a donation between my campaign and Sharice’s today to help us flip the House blue?

I grew up in Clinton, New Jersey, and from an early age I loved playing basketball – being a part of a team, striving toward a common goal, and fighting through adversity. I went on to play in college and even professionally overseas in Ireland and Germany for a couple of years.

After that, I began teaching and became involved in the fight for New Jersey schools and students. Everyday I saw the struggles families and students faced, while self-serving, career politicians put their own agendas ahead of working New Jerseyans.

And then as Executive Director of the New Jersey Working Families Alliance, I spent years fighting corruption and the waste of taxpayer dollars in Trenton – taking on both parties to put everyday New Jerseyans ahead of partisan politics.

Now, I’m running for Congress here in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District because the communities that raised me deserve someone who will fight tirelessly for them. Someone who will fight against corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle, instead of sitting back in silence or enabling extremism, like my opponent Tom Kean, Jr.

From playing basketball, to defending New Jersey’s students, and now running for office, I have never been one to shy away from tough competition. But I can’t do this without you, team.

So, will you split a donation of any amount between my campaign and Sharice Davids’s today? We both could use you on our team in the fight ahead.

Thank you for everything,

Sue Altman

P.S. I'm still shooting hoops.
