I feel so lucky to grow up in Maine. From the sparkling lakes to the lush forests, I’m so fortunate to call this state my home. However, with rapidly increasing temperatures like we’re seeing this summer, I worry about the future that my generation will inherit.
My mom tells me that it’s important to join the causes we believe in. That is why she is a dedicated Maine Conservation Voters (MCV) Kennebec Friend monthly donor. Our family knows that our membership with MCV matters because they are addressing the climate crisis in a meaningful way. We stand with MCV as they advance Maine’s Climate Action Plan, work to pass pro-climate, pro-environment, and pro-democracy legislation, and advocate for a just energy transition.
