$7.25.

The federal minimum wage is the same as it was in 2009. That’s 15 years without an increase. Our minimum wage could get a learner's permit!

Given the rising cost of living and the economic changes we've experienced over the last decade, $7.25 is simply not enough for anyone to make ends meet working 40 hours a week. On today's anniversary of the last minimum wage increase, please join me by adding your name to our petition to support raising the minimum wage. [link removed]

The unfortunate reality is that living comfortably in our country has become a luxury. As long as I’m serving you, I will keep fighting to raise the wage for America's workers.

Raising the minimum wage isn’t just about the economy; it’s about doing what’s right. Every hardworking American should be able to support their family and live with dignity.

It's unconscionable that our extremely wealthy nation continues to neglect the many families struggling daily to survive.

Please add your name alongside mine to support raising the minimum wage and ensuring a better future for all working Americans. [link removed]

Thank you,

Dwight Evans
