Good afternoon John

We hope you and yours are well.

The coronavirus crisis has meant that thousands of fundraising events have been
cancelled or postponed, including the London Marathon which was due to take
place this Sunday 26 April. In response, the organisers of the biggest sports
events across the country have come together to create a new campaign to raise
vital funds for charities – the 2.6 Challenge.

What is the 2.6 Challenge?

The 2.6 Challenge is for all ages and abilities. All you need to do is think of
an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and get your family and friends
to sponsor you. It can be anything you like – running 2.6 miles, hopping 26
times in your home or flipping 26 pancakes in a row. Feel free to get creative!

The money you raise will make a huge difference to our work supporting
struggling families.

£26 could fund half an hour of our advice service helping frontline workers
support families facing financial hardship – so we can prevent more children ending up in poverty and support those already
struggling.

How to take part:

1. Decide on your 2.6 challenge – if you need help there are lots of ideas here

3. Ask your friends and family to sponsor you and share your plans on social
media with the #TwoPointSixChallenge hashtag

4. Do your challenge on Sunday 26 April!

Please make sure your activity is safe and meets Government guidelines on time
spent outside the home (if applicable) and social distancing.

We hope you’ll join people across the nation in the 2.6 Challenge, to support
CPAG and help save the UK’s charities doing life-changing work.

activity could be, visit twopointsixchallenge.co.uk

Thank you again for your support.
