Kamala Harris unveiled her agenda today and it focuses on women’s reproductive rights and prosecuting Donald Trump.
Yes, women’s bodily autonomy must be protected and now expanded at all costs, but any Democratic nominee would stand for that. As far as prosecuting Donald Trump is concerned, it’s been done in court – and done successfully – yet there is no indication that that has diminished his popularity.
Our agenda is the one that would defeat Donald Trump, meeting his Big Lies with Big Truths that the American public needs to hear. Truths about the way our economy really works, how our government really works — and how neither at this point truly work for American people.
We need a President who will say that, and stand for that. That’s why we’re standing in whatever way possible (and given the structure of the Democratic delegate system, those possibilities are narrow) for an open democratic process, an open convention, and a chance to debate Kamala Harris so we can truly see who has the best platform to meet the moment.
