President Joe Biden is not running for re-election. Now, he is a lame-duck president.
What does that mean? Well, in theory, it means he can take big actions with big, positive impacts on the American people without fear of losing an election if his moves were picked apart. (Not to mention he has total immunity to do so thanks to the Stolen Supreme Court).
Now is his chance to do some really great things, and we’re calling on him to do just that! Here’s our Biden Lame Duck Checklist, let’s encourage him to start ticking things off the list including: immediate action to address the climate crisis, the healthcare crisis around abortion access, firing Louis DeJoy (finally!), and decriminalizing marijuana once and for all.
President Biden’s legacy will live on, especially with the selfless move of stepping aside this election. But he can, and should, do even more! Join us and call on President Biden to act now and do GREAT things for the American people in his final months.
