As an elected official who is a woman of color, Alexandria has seen and
heard a lot.
And we know that Vice President Kamala Harris has as well.

It’s going to be crucial that we brace ourselves for some unfair,
misogynistic, and racial undertones, overtones, explicit attacks and
implicit attacks that she may be subjected to.

The far-right has a history of weaponizing this hateful and divisive
language against us and people who look like us. But we’ve seen this
playbook before and now we must rise above the noise.

We must come together to denounce the far-right’s harmful rhetoric,
swiftly defeat Donald Trump, and end his threat to our American democracy.

Kamala Haris is more than up to the task and ready to be President. It’s
now on us to rally behind her to elect her come November.
