John,
While our election isn’t until 2025, what happens this November will have a serious impact on our race and on the future of our country and Commonwealth.
Virginia is a battleground state, and the future of the House, Senate, and Presidency could come down to our Commonwealth this November.
Trump’s recent pick of JD Vance as his running mate means we must be steadfast in our commitment to upholding our Commonwealth’s values. JD Vance is too extreme for Virginia.
In a 2022 podcast appearance, JD Vance said, “I certainly would like abortion to be illegal nationally.” [1] And a year prior when discussing abortion exceptions for victims of rape or incest, JD Vance explained his opposition to exceptions by stating [dismissively] that “two wrongs don’t make a right.” [2]
As extreme politicians like JD Vance seek to pass further restrictions on reproductive rights, we must make sure that reproductive care remains safe and accessible across Virginia.
As the next Governor of Virginia, I will defend reproductive rights and protect both patients and providers from extreme politicians, but I need your help. Will you contribute to my campaign for Governor today?
