God Bless Donald J. Trump.  
 
That’s how I opened my speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention on Tuesday evening – and I thanked God for protecting him.

Together, we lifted up in prayer all of our leaders, the family of fallen firefighter and patriot Corey Comperatore, and those injured at the rally last Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania. 
 
Then, I moved on to highlight for those in attendance and those watching at home what’s at stake in this historic presidential election – focused on the disastrous Biden Border Crisis. 
 
As I said on Tuesday evening, we are facing an INVASION at our southern border. 
 
A staggering 11.5 million people have crossed our border illegally under Joe Biden. 
 
And every single day now Americans are dying – murders, rapes, and horrific assaults are being perpetrated across our country at the hands of illegal immigrants. 
 
These are not just news stories or statistics. These are our mothers and fathers, our brothers and sisters, our children and grandchildren.  
 
These are empty chairs at dinner tables that will never be filled again. 
 
Joe Biden and the Democrats cynically decided they wanted votes from illegal immigrants more than they wanted to protect American citizens. The good news is we can fix this mess.  

It’s just one big reason why we need to elect Donald J. Trump and send him back to the White House on November 5th! 
 
I worked with President Trump to secure the border during his first term, and we achieved the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years. Now it’s time to do it again. 
 
Together, we’ll lead the fight to secure the border again, enforce our laws, protect our children, and restore our future.
