With President Biden dropping out of the 2024 Presidential race, all eyes are now turning to Vice President Kamala Harris who will be the likely Democratic nominee in November.
For years, Kamala Harris has made protecting our environment a top priority - from prosecuting polluters as California’s Attorney General to casting the tie-breaking vote as Vice President to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, the largest climate investment in U.S. history.
Not only will Kamala Harris protect the achievements we have already made, but she will continue her work to lead a global coalition to tackle the climate crisis head-on.
As Vice President Harris said at the UN global climate summit in Dubai last year, “The urgency of this moment is clear. The clock is no longer just ticking, it is banging. And we must make up for lost time.”
As Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress work to undo our progress, deny climate science, and spread misinformation, we can trust Kamala Harris to lead us into the future and unite a global response to save our planet from climate change.

Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 118th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future.
