Since Sunday's momentous announcement, Democratic governors, Senators, and Representatives alike have enthusiastically endorsed VP Kamala Harris – and I’m proud to have been one of the first.
John, I’m grateful to President Biden for his courageous and patriotic decision, and I’m going to work every waking hour for the next 106 days to make sure Democrats win this all-important election. You can already feel the surge of Democratic enthusiasm and momentum. Having Vice President Harris at the top of the ticket, and a running mate that will be chosen from an amazing group of talented younger Democrats, will fundamentally reset the trajectory of the presidential race, and Democrats up and down the ballot will benefit.
On a personal note, I’ve known Kamala Harris for many years as a friend and political ally. She’s proven, talented, and relentless – she’s got everything it takes to unite Democrats and defeat Donald Trump this November.
