JOHN,

After her day in the hot seat
<[link removed]>
, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle finallysaw herself to the door
<[link removed]>
.

There were hours of questioning yesterday, but we didn’t learn a dadgum thing
about the clown show that cost a brave firefighter his life and nearly led to a
former president’s assassination. Ms. Cheatle's inability was clearly on
display, proving this administration’s pattern of not naming the best and
brightest to top posts.

<[link removed]>

Let’s count the ways Ms. Cheatle failed to demonstrate leadership during this
nightmare:

* She never visited the site
<[link removed]>
of the shooting with investigators and couldn’t even give us a timeline of
events.
* She declined to give specific numbers
<[link removed]>
when asked how many agents were assigned to protect Trump that day.
* She couldn’t tell us how many times
<[link removed]>
the Secret Service denied Trump’s requests for additional security assets.
Perhaps the most damning thing we heard was Ms. Cheatle’s admission that the
shooter was“identified as suspicious”
<[link removed]>
before Trump even took the stage. Why in the world was he allowed to continue
in that direction if there was even a question about the guy?

>>> This is another DEI horror story that underscores why it’s so dangerous
for the Left to continue hiring based on gender, race, and sexual orientation.
If you agree, help me fight against this type of crud in Congress. <<<
<[link removed]>

It’s time we get back to basics here, folks: Hire competent people with the
experience necessary to get the job done right—especially when we’re talking
about matters of life and death.

Sincerely,

<[link removed]>
