✅ Secured $76.8 million in federal funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation to bring many more Zero-Emission Buses to the Sacramento region
✅ Introduced the International Maritime Pollution Accountability Act to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and toxic air pollutants emitted by large marine vessels carrying cargo destined for U.S. ports.
✅ Fiercely opposed the Republican-led ‘Refrigerator Freedom Act’ and ‘Stop Unaffordable Dishwashers Standards Act’ to preserve the Department of Energy’s plan to save money and energy for American families.
✅ Fought for funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program to get more than 23 million households nationwide access to affordable, high-quality broadband.
