The change at the top of the ticket has brought incredible enthusiasm to the 2024 election, and that’s a great thing. Republicans feel it too. And that’s why they’re already trying to undermine the validity of the election by preparing lawsuits and sowing false narratives about election fraud…before the election EVEN happened.

Taking back the House is critical for so many reasons, but one in particular–election certification. On January 6, 2025, it’s going to be up to the House of Representatives to certify the election. I’ve already publicly declared my commitment to certifying the valid election results–regardless of who wins. You know who hasn’t? The VAST MAJORITY of my Republican colleagues, and we already know that Trump has refused to say he would accept the results.

Control of the House rests on our ability to reach out to as many voters as possible because here’s the truth: Republicans are wasting no time doing so.

Michigan is a battleground state, and MI-03 is one of the most competitive districts in the nation. What happens here could have national implications and will impact whether we can actually certify the results of our free and fair elections.
