FIRST: In 2023, Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law that requires voters to register for vote-by-mail ballots twice as often as before. [[link removed]]
THEN: Just this year, stories emerged about how an elections official accepted data from an AI program – created by far-right extremists – that were causing Democratic voters to get kicked off the voter roll. [[link removed]]

And this isn't the first time we've seen something like this out of MAGA Republicans like Ron DeSantis. He has been a dedicated supporter of cutting Social Security, severely limiting our right to an abortion, and stripping away our freedom to feel safe in our state. [[link removed]]
This is all to say that now is a crucial time for Democratic campaigns like mine. As this election cycle continues to turn heads, we need experienced elected officials to stand up to far-right extremists, because Ron DeSantis is only one of many. [[link removed]]
