This team knows how high the stakes are for this year’s elections.  The GOP’s Project 2025 makes those stakes even higher. 

Project 2025 is the GOP’s plan if Donald Trump wins another term in the White House.  It’s nearly 1,000 pages of policy and personnel recommendations put together by the conservative group The Heritage Foundation, at least 140 people who worked in the Trump administration, and informed by over 100 other right-wing organizations.  These are some of the proposal’s provisions:

• Abolishing the Department of Education
• Using federal power to restrict abortions and coverage for birth control
• Giving the president more control over the Justice Department and criminal investigations
• Rolling back efforts to address climate change and protect our environment

• Cuts to Medicaid
• Cruel immigration policies
• Revoking FDA approval for the abortion pill
• Requiring states to report where women seeking abortion live

Trump supports Project 2025, and it’s worth noting that the head of the Heritage Foundation calls Trump’s vice presidential pick, JD Vance, a “good friend.”

This proposal tells us exactly how Republicans plan to govern if they win control of the White House.  Needless to say, it’s a scary proposition and we can’t afford for them to succeed.

We know enough already to be certain that Democrats must retake control of the House and win the White House this November.  The stakes are too high to do anything else.  Washington Republicans have shown us who they are.  Believe them.  And act.  Vote.  Volunteer.  Donate.
