John, I’ll get straight to the point…

GOP extremists are gearing up to implement Project 2025: an ultraconservative playbook that would wreak havoc on our democracy, and I’m extremely worried - and to be honest, we all should be.

If this harmful plan falls into place, we can expect to see reproductive rights further stripped away, checks and balances completely gutted, and widespread discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community.

And that isn’t even the half of it. With so much at risk under this plan, coupled with the lack of enthusiasm among voters and the surge in GOP extremists up and down the ballot, it’s more important than ever that state and local Democrats boost their mobilization efforts – especially in key battleground states.

Chip in now to help Run for Something recruit and elect young progressives who will WIN their elections and bolster support from the bottom of the ballet to the top this November.

At the end of the day, younger generations are more likely to vote when they see people on the ballot that are dedicated to the causes we all care about. That’s why the work we’re doing here at Run for Something is so important: We’re training the young, progressive, down-ballot candidates that voters have been asking for and are eager to show up for on Election Day.

Local candidates running for state legislatures and school boards - all the way up to the Senate and House races - are sure to make “reverse coattails” THE story of the 2024 election. It’s leadership like theirs that will mobilize Democrats to vote and save our democracy.

But our efforts to recruit and elect the next generation of leaders to run for office and empower them to push the top of the ticket across the finish line all depends on grassroots Democrats like YOU, John.

So please, chip in $5 or more right now to help Run for Something recruit and elect progressive candidates who will push the top of the ticket across the finish line this November.

Let’s go,

Amanda Litman
