?Office of Administration to hold "Hire a Veteran Day" July 25 at the Missouri Capitol
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. ? The Office of Administration (OA) is holding a ?Hire a Veteran Day? event at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City on Thursday, July 25, 2024. ??Hire A Veteran Day? will showcase over 20 Missouri departments during this special hiring event designed specifically for veterans.
?The State of Missouri is a great place to work and share your military occupational skills,? said Major (Ret.) Jamie Melchert. Melchert is a retired member of the Missouri Army National Guard who now works for OA. ?If you want to be part of a team and that supports public service everyday?the State of Missouri is a great employment opportunity for veterans.?

When: 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (hiring event) and 10:30 a.m. ? 12 p.m. (ceremony)?

The ?Hire a Veteran Day? will kick off with a hiring event from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on the third-floor rotunda and a recognition ceremony from 10:30 a.m. ? noon on the first-floor rotunda.
