Turning Point USA is pleased to announce our newest contributor, Topher!
After dedicating six years to the U.S. Air Force, Topher moved back to Mississippi to use his lyrical gift to create music.
Growing up in Kilmichael, Mississippi, he was inspired by rappers that told authentic stories about growing up in troubled homes but making their own way through hard work and resilience.
While contemporary rap is known to celebrate violence and gangster lifestyles, Topher's worldview was rooted in conservative all-American values, like liberty, equality, and individualism!
He released his first album, “No Apologies” in 2021 after his December 2020 single “The Patriot” featuring fellow veteran, The Marine Rapper. “The Patriot'' reached number 1 on the Billboard Hip Hop Charts; however, two weeks afterwards, it was removed from all streaming services without explanation.
Like most creatives, Topher turned to creating content on TikTok and other social media outlets to express his views and address the corrupt issues facing American culture.
With a social media following of over 4 million followers, Topher continues to use his gift to fearlessly keep the conversation going and engage with millennials and Gen Zers who are reluctant to express their own conservative beliefs.
