DD: Kamala Harris Could Be the New Democratic Presidential Nominee — Here’s Her Record on Voting Rights [[link removed]]
In her time in office, all the way to the Vice Presidency, Kamala Harris has been a strong proponent of voting rights and our democracy, John.
➜ As a District Attorney and then California's Attorney General she stood up for civil rights.
➜ She introduced and co-sponsored voting rights legislation as U.S. Senator, like her VoteSafe Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
➜ As Vice President she has worked to break down barriers to voting, advocated for passage of bills like the Freedom to Vote Act and John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and highlighted voter suppression in states like Georgia, among others.
Her pro-voter, pro-democracy, and pro-election positions couldn't be clearer. Now we need to make sure every voter is informed about what's at stake in this upcoming election.
Chip in $25 or whatever you can today to help register, educate, and turn out as many pro-voting rights voters as possible >> [[link removed]]

Take Kamala's own words as an example: “ It is critical that we meet voters where they are and ensure that all forms of voting are safe and accessible ”.
We've also seen her call out voter suppression when she sees it. After 2021's wave of voter suppression laws hit us, she said " we have seen in the state of Georgia, by example of what is happening in the country, anti-voter laws — laws that have limited drop boxes, have made it illegal to even provide food and water to people standing in line often for hours ".
There's so little time left before the election. We don't have the luxury of time. We can't hesitate to start educating voters across the country about her positions and what the consequences of this election are.
Your $25 -- or whatever you can give -- fuels our work to inform voters, increase voter participation, register new voters, and make every vote count across the country >> [[link removed]]
