Campaign Manager Luke O’Connell with the summer interns
& Democracy Summer fellows

It’s Sophia and Sarah — Mary Gay’s summer interns. We’re both very into politics and feel so strongly about helping shape our future, so when Team Scanlon was hiring it was a no-brainer. Mary Gay is a bit of a legend here in Southeast PA. She really proves that there are still politicians out there who listen and care.
We’re both voting in our first election this year, and we know that this election is going to be a true fight for our democracy. We’ll be honest that sometimes the future seems bleak for young people our age, but working alongside Mary Gay proves that we still have amazing people on our side, and that gives us hope.
We keep hearing from the team that Mary Gay’s supporters are some of the strongest and most committed out there, and we want to see if that’s true. We’re looking to get as many people as we can to commit to voting this November, can we count on you? Let us know here >>

It’s Alizah, Shiva, Emily, Ava, Tom, KJ, Finn, Nate, Justin, Sarah — Mary Gay’s Democracy Summer Fellows! We are so fortunate to have the amazing opportunity to work in campaigns and organizing this summer and we’re so happy we ended up on Team Scanlon.
We’re a mix of high school and college students and we’re committed to turning out voters and protecting our democracy in November – that’s why we’re spending our summer learning how to help! There’s nothing more important than talking to voters (especially the young voters!) and making sure they know that the outcome of this election will completely shape our future.
That seems dramatic, but it really feels that way to us, and that’s why it’s so important that we make sure everyone who can, commits to vote this November.
Let us know if you’re committed to voting in November here >>
(We’re trying to beat the interns with sign-ups so please click OUR link above!)
Thanks for reading along and being so committed to Mary Gay and this super amazing team.
