COVID-19 has hit our community and our city hard. Beyond the sickness itself, our neighbors and our small businesses are suffering from the economic impact of the virus, not to mention the countless heroes from our community who are on the front lines as essential workers.

It's been so heartening to see how our community is responding to this moment. Many of you have reached out to our campaign asking how you can support frontline workers and those in need.

Today, our campaign is launching a relief effort to help organizations that are providing direct relief to essential workers and those in need. Every other week, we will support a non-profit that is engaged in direct COVID-19 relief work and match every donation of $22 or less that we receive to support that organization.

This week, I want to highlight the EMS Help Fund, which supports our EMS workers who are battling on the front lines by answering thousands of emergency calls every single day, often without the proper PPE to help keep them safe. Every penny we raise from your donation of up to $22 to support the EMS Help Fund through this link will be matched by our campaign, dollar for dollar.
