Island County is hosting a Community Workshop for the Clinton Sub Area Plan. As part of Island County’s 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update, this sub area plan will focus on the developing goals and policies for the Clinton area in South Whidbey that will inform future growth.
Please join us on Wednesday, July 24th from 4:30 – 6:00 PM at the Clinton Community Center to learn more about the sub area plan and how you can get involved. There will be a short presentation at 5 PM and interactive stations focused on different components of the sub area plan. Staff from the County, our Consultant Kimley-Horn, and WSDOT will be available to talk with you.
Attendees can come at any point during the workshop and stay for as little or as long as desired. Clinton residents, business owners, stakeholders, or others who may frequently visit the community are encouraged to attend to share opportunities, challenges, and how the Clinton community should grow over the next 20 years.
