The House Appropriations Committee advanced several bills that, if made law, would cut FY25 funding for: -
Congregate and home-delivered meals
- Older worker training and employment opportunities
- Adult Protective Services
- Falls prevention programs
- The Social Security Administration's operating budget
Some, but not all, of these bills are expected to be debated on the House floor, and will need to be reconciled with what the Senate Appropriations Committee is expected to propose. In the meantime, it's critical that you and the people you serve understand what's at risk. |
