She has pushed forward enormous progress for the planet as vice president in the most environmentally-friendly administration in U.S. history. Their remarkable achievements to advance climate action and environmental justice include:
Passing the Inflation Reduction Act, the country’s biggest investment ever in tackling climate change;
Finalizing critical EPA emissions standards that will dramatically reduce air, water, and carbon pollution from power plants;
Halting Department of Energy approvals of liquefied gas exports (LNG), a major step forward in our commitment to phase out fossil fuels;
Canceling all existing oil and gas leases on federal public lands in the vulnerable Arctic National Wildlife Refuge; and much more.
This endorsement comes at a moment when the future of our country – and our planet – hangs in the balance. Our choice is stark: four more years of groundbreaking progress and bold climate leadership…or a return to the dark days of the Trump administration, when fossil fuel lobbyists and corporate polluters took priority over the needs of everyday people.
